A Message From Mrs. Lashley and the St. Johns Family Shelter

Coats for Kids 2021

In January 2021, the Ministry of Compassion (South Brooklyn SDA's community service department) collected coats and personal items on behalf of the residents of the St. Johns Family Shelter in Brooklyn, NY. The residence's assistant director, Mrs. Lashley had a few words of thanks for all those who made this possible.

As Christians, we are called to do good works - not because they will offer us salvation, but because our love of God calls us to service. At South Brooklyn, our motto is that we are Saved to Serve, and we will always answer the call to do God's work.
